Fujikura Automotive Europe set to launch production in Moldova

Fujikura Automotive Europe is set to launch production in Moldova, and in the first phase, to create about 700 jobs. Subsequently, this figure might go up to 3,000 jobs. The President of Fujikura Automotive Europe, Mr. Kimio Koizumi made statements to this effect at a meeting with the Moldovan Prime Minister, Mr. Pavel Filip.

“We are interested in being present and quite active in Moldova. If things go as we want, in the next two years and a half, we will extend the business and will employ up to 3,000 people,” Mr. Koizumi stressed. The Moldovan PM welcomed this intention of the investor, stressing that the government’s goal was to improve the living standards of the residents, and this means investments in the Moldovan economy, new jobs and decent salaries.
